Delete your Nearfelt account

You can request deletion without reinstalling the app.

In the app

Open Settings → My account → Delete my Nearfelt account. Read the confirmation, then select Permanently delete Nearfelt account and local recordings.

Without the app

Send a deletion request to support@taoftware.com from the email associated with your Nearfelt account. State that you want your Nearfelt account deleted. We verify ownership and complete the request within applicable legal deadlines. Never send a password or sign-in code.

What is removed

Your Nearfelt profile, connections, invitations, shared messages, private library backups and uploaded sound are removed from the active Nearfelt service. In-app deletion also erases the recording library on that phone. A remote request cannot erase another person’s exported copies or recordings saved on an offline device. Other Taoftware app accounts are preserved. Necessary store transaction records, shared authentication needed for another app, provider backups and records required by law may remain under the privacy policy.

Cancel a subscription separately

Deleting an account does not cancel Apple or Google subscriptions. Cancel through your store subscription settings to stop future renewals.
