Personal expression

Nearfelt helps you record personal moments and connect with people who accept your invitation. Camera optical pulse estimates, recorded sounds, decorative animations and watch samples are not ECGs, medical measurements, diagnoses, treatment, monitoring or emergency services. Do not use them to make medical decisions. Camera accuracy varies with motion, device hardware, lighting, finger placement and circulation; even a passed quality check does not guarantee accuracy. Stop capture if the camera light feels warm or uncomfortable.

Your account and choices

You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum age for using the service in your location. If you are not legally able to agree, a parent or guardian must approve your use. Keep codes private, use an account you control, and only connect with people you intend to contact. You may unlink or delete your Nearfelt account. Local recording does not require sign-in.

Respectful use

Do not threaten, harass, exploit, spam, impersonate, share illegal content, or record someone without any consent required by law. Do not share content you lack the right to share. You retain rights to your recordings and give us only the permission needed to store, process and deliver content as you instruct. Use Report on a received signal or contact support to report abuse. You can block a person in People, or unlink the connection. Unblocking requires a new mutual invitation before exchanging signals again. We may restrict accounts involved in abuse or unlawful activity, subject to applicable rights.

Plus and store billing

Plus is optional and uses Apple or Google in-app billing. The purchase sheet shows the current price, billing period and any applicable taxes or offers before you purchase. Unless cancelled through your store, subscriptions automatically renew according to the store’s terms. Manage or cancel through your Apple or Google account; deleting Nearfelt does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled under the applicable store rules and mandatory consumer rights.

Plus removes the free library’s recording-count limit and permits optional private cloud backup and provides the advertised export, print and calendar features. Available device capacity still limits storage. Printing supplies a print-ready layout; it does not include physical prints, postage or a printer. Existing saved recordings remain accessible if Plus ends. Uninstalling, hardware failure or loss of local data can erase recordings, so enable private backup or keep exported copies you want to preserve.

Availability and liability

The app and test releases may contain errors or interruptions. We work to maintain service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted delivery, sensor accuracy or permanent storage. To the extent permitted by law, the service is supplied as available and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing excludes liability or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights concerning defective services, fraud or intentional misconduct. Applicable law and mandatory local consumer protections govern your rights.

Ending use and changes

You can stop using Nearfelt at any time. Account deletion is available in the app and through the instructions on this website. We may update these terms or features with notice where legally required. The effective date identifies the current terms. These terms supplement the applicable Apple or Google distribution terms.
